Another beautiful template to work with from Sara this month. It is so quick and easy to make up.
I used white card and stamped the top section using the Crafty Individuals crackle stamp CI-116 with Versamark and embossed with clear powder to act as a resist then coloured with Adirondack Sunshine Yellow and Red Pepper blending with a sponge.
The back section is coloured in the same way. The quote is from an Elusive Images set stamped in Red Pepper. I used a Marianne Design die LR0116 for the gold swirly bits and finished with some flower embellishments, gems and gold Krylon pen round the edges.
Made the template myself, it took ages to get the curve to look right. Kept the design quite simple using cream card and gold peeloffs. Stamped the sheet music and die cut the 30. Keys are a white piece of card marked with a pencil and black card. They act as the stopper for the easel.
I was asked to make a small wedding card after donating some cards to a local group to help them raise funds for a summer outing. Perfect oppertunity to use my new set of sentiment stamps which includes one for a wedding.
Embossed the main card with tiny hearts. Added the decoupage and a ribbon border with the stamped greeting. Very quick and easy, I hope they like it.
Well not only has the week flown by but here we are into June already, nearly half a year gone! Did you have summer for two days?? Thursday and Friday were scorchers but back to normal dull and cold today.
Still not into crafting mode properly since losing my beloved Jordan but managed to get a few quick cards made for a fundraising event, heres some of them.
