Crafty Individuals Challenge.

Thought i'd have a go at the CI Bright and Beautiful challenge this month using the second version of the birdhouse template from Cardmaking Paradise

I used background paper from the 'trees' book for the birdhouse and diecut leaves and stamped the little birds on background paper from the 'springtime' book. The sides of the birdhouse are inked with distress ink 'scattered straw'.

Christmas Robins.

This lovely template from Cardmaking Paradise   prompted me to make a start on my Christmas cards. It was just perfect for the little robins image I got from a friend.

I used green textured card for the house and red for the roof trimmed with wavy sissors. Spread Stickles Icicle glitter over them to add shine and sparkle. Coloured the Robins with Polychromos pencils, added glitter.............well it is a Christmas card after all!!

Die cut ponsettia, stamped and gold embossed greeting, stocking and baubles........another freebie from Craft Stamper magazine. Finished off with some snow............Polar white flower soft.

Flat knot!

Great video tutorial on the Cardmaking Paradise website showing you how to tie a ribbon with a flat knot. Just a quick card to give it a try. Entering it for the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge #100 use a large or small creature.
