Inky fingers and an award.

Well that certainly brightened up my morning. My card in the previous post which I entered for the Daily Bread Shining Light Challenge has been selected for the Award, see side bar, woooho!!!

Two cards today, the first is a masked and sponged background overstamped with a quote and varius grasses.

The second is a stamped script background with a hero arts wildflower stamped in the corner and the edges inked with distress ink. Matching flower stamped in black on distress ink and torn edges.

Hope you like them, all comments gratefully received.

Lacing challenge...........

not using lace but actually lacing ribbon, lace, string, or paper through something. So I used some ribbon through the Marianne Design die LR0129.

I stamped the Brocade background and get well stamp, both Our Daily Bread stamps, in Brilliance Pearlescant Purple ink also the freebie butterfly from Craft Stamper magazine.

Lace challenge

With Love.

Made this for the challenge on the Form a Lines forum to include lace on your card. The main image, which I created last year and never used, is masked and stamped with varius stamps to create the romantic collage. There are micro beads on the dress and scroll at the side. Used lace across the card and for the bow also punched a lace edge to the greeting.

Tag swap

All about me!

First of all sorry its been a while since my last post..........i've no idea where the time has gone and very little to show for it. So without further ado on with the tag.

The latest swap at Cardmaking Paradise was a tag with the theme of all about me. Now that was a real challenge. In the end I decided on a stamped collage to represent a few things about me, coloured loosely with a sponge and distress ink.

In the tag you'll see I enjoy walking in the countyside and love dogs, especially Jordan, sadly now deseased. I love my grandchildren and my flower garden and of course art and crafts!
