Praise God!

In more ways than one. Having gotten back to doing some challenge entries after missing a few weeks I've won an award for my entry Blue Birthday on Our Daily Bread Designs. Thank you so much ladies:)

Well i'm really on the ball this week and not last minute with this weeks challenge entry......Use three stamps or more on the front of your creation! So decided on another scenic view.

Blended distress ink Peacock Feathers, Squeezed Lemonade and Ripe Persimmon to create the background. Then stamped the Bullrushes and Dragonflies from the 'With Heartfelt Sympathy' set and frame and sentiment from Tags 3 set using Black Momentos Ink. Sorry photo is rather dull.

Uri Geller moment!!

Something a little different from me today. It has reached its destination now so I can show you my Uri geller effort LOL. Not quite spoon bending........

Found this lovely fork in a charity shop and turned it into a display stand as a thank you gift for a friend. Using a pair of pliers I bent the centre prongs forward and the outer ones back so it would stand.....This needed some very fine 'tuning' to get the balance right.

Then I painted it using Viva Precious Metal paint in Lilac and highlighted the decorative parts with Blackberry and Mother of Pearl.

To add to the stand I decorated a heart shape with pearls, lace, flowers and sentiment finishing with a butterfly above.

Challenges.

Sorry its been a while since my last post, I have been busy crafting and will try to get my blog up todate as soon as possible. To start the ball rolling heres a couple of cards I made for the challenges this week.

First up something old ....... Border Punch, something new........Stamp Set  something borrowed (or gifted)...... beautiful ribbon from a friend and something blue ......ink, for Our Daily Bread Designs challenge.  I inked the embossing folder before I ran it through the CB to create the background.

Next up is the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge use an image showing action, hope a butterfly flying counts! Distress ink blended on glossy card. Circle frame around stamped butterfly. Glitter added to wings and flower centres.
