Josephine's coat of many colours!

What a fun template from Cardmaking Paradise suitable for many occassions, why not pop over and have a look in the gallery to see some fabulous examples.

This is what I did. I keep collecting bits and bobs and things to use on my cards or to alter and thought it would be quite nice to try adding some colour and texture to this fun card. So here is Josephine with her bright coloured feathers made from Melon seeds! They were already washed and dried some time ago so all I had to do was colour them. I used a variety of glimmer mist sprays for that and silicon glue to attach them when they were dry. The paper is a sheet from Crafty Individuals Seaside book!

Pretty in pink!

Another commissioned Radley style bag, this time in pink. I used a patterned paper as requested and initials instead of an age. I'm really pleased with the finished card and hope the recipient enjoys receiving it.

Challenge entry.

Just a quick post with my entry for the Our Daily Bread Design challenge hopefully in time to beat the deadline! This weeks challenge is fall colours and a verse. Had a look through my box of bits and found the perfect background for my card....a sheet sprayed with glimmer mist and ink in lovely Autumn colours. I also stamped the flowers on it, cut them out and layered them for dimension.

Male birthday

Birthday bet for a birthday boy!

It felt quite strange making this card .......its been ages since i did a decoupage which might explain the big bundle of decoupage sheets in the drawer LOL! Note to self must use up my stash! Made an acetate window on front of card to show off the back of the image which is also decoupaged. Even used some peel off stickers and only one tiny stamped Cheers in the corner!

Christmas music

A musical note.

The challenges this week on Our Daily Bread Design and Stampin Sisters in Christ are based on a music theme. I had intended to use an ODBD stamp but somewhere along the line of creativity I forgot and ended up with these instead!!

First up is the Christmas angel with harp stamped on a subtle patterned paper and embossed, matted on decorative die cuts, on a musical background paper. Glitter added to give the Christmas sparkle! and finished with a musical note charm.

Next is the Carol singers stamped in blue as was the sentiment and music flourish. Dry embossed snowflake background and the all important glitter to finish.
