For my son.

Decided to make a card in the shape of a camera for my sons birthday as he has recently become interested in photography. Stamped the sentiment etc and inked the edges of the layers to add dimension.

For Sara.

Had to make something special for Sara birthday so when i saw this in a magazine I knew it was just the thing. Used some vintage papers for the body and a doily for the shawl. Made the face and features and stamped happy birthday, added a flower to finish.

For Caitlin.

Doesn't seem long since her last birthday but here she is turning 7 today. Caitlins been having riding lessons so the horseshoe template from Cardmaking Paradise was perfect for her card this year. I was inspired by Laineys sample and to personalise Caitlins card I used a photo of her on the pony she rides.

Josephine's coat of many colours!

What a fun template from Cardmaking Paradise suitable for many occassions, why not pop over and have a look in the gallery to see some fabulous examples.

This is what I did. I keep collecting bits and bobs and things to use on my cards or to alter and thought it would be quite nice to try adding some colour and texture to this fun card. So here is Josephine with her bright coloured feathers made from Melon seeds! They were already washed and dried some time ago so all I had to do was colour them. I used a variety of glimmer mist sprays for that and silicon glue to attach them when they were dry. The paper is a sheet from Crafty Individuals Seaside book!

Pretty in pink!

Another commissioned Radley style bag, this time in pink. I used a patterned paper as requested and initials instead of an age. I'm really pleased with the finished card and hope the recipient enjoys receiving it.

Flip Flops

Sunshine anyone?

Definately not in Bonny Scotland but I do have a pair of flip flops to help you dream of warm sandy beaches.

This is the latest template from Sara at Cardmaking Paradise  along with a lovely little box to send them in. I thought it would be fun to make a pair for the Olympics as well as one for the beach.
