Deck the Halls.

Christmas is nearly upon us, time to dust off the tinsel and deck the halls so what better theme for this weeks challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs. Almost finished making my cards now and this one ticks another off the list.   Stamped and cut out Christmas bauble coloured with promarkers, punched snowflakes and embossed side panel. Sentiment stamped and cut out with deckle edged scissors. Stickles 'star dust' glitter added for that Christmas sparkle.

Festive sparkle!

Its time for a new challenge at Crafty Individuals. Christmas is coming so plenty scope with festive sparkle as the theme.

Thought i'd used my new stamps CI-322 and CI-142 stamped and embossed in white. Sprayed with glimmer mist Rum Raisin and ??? ( Have totally forgotten what the other one is called will edit when I remember!) and matted onto Crafty Individual background paper from book 4 'trees' overstamped in plum with a holly flourish stamp by elusive images. For the sparkle i added loads of stickle glitter in aqua and lavender and finished with a ponsettia flower embellishment.

Winter Wonderland

Winter white challenge.

I enjoyed doing this weeks challenge on Our Daily Bread Design. Had to be a Christmas card with that theme which means I get to use the gorgeous snowflake background stamp again.

This time I embossed it with tinsel white powder after stamping directly onto the main card and also on a spare piece to create the snowdrift. The trees, deer and sentiment are stamped in green and cut out to add dimention, finished off with some frosted lace stickles on the trees.

Clean and Simple.

Still way behind with my Christmas cards so another one to fit the 'Masculine' challenge on Our Daily Bread Design this week. Trying my hand at C&S style cards to save on postage this year. Stamped in coffee archival ink on cream card with a touch of glitter on star.

Challenge entry...

Trying to avoid a last minute panic this year so sticking to making another Christmas card for this weeks Our Daily Bread Designs challenge which is a stamped background.

I stamped and heat embossed the beautiful snowflake background stamp from Our Daily Bread Designs. Its such a lovely design I didn't want to hide it so kept the forground to a minimum. Kept to the blue and white theme for the image and sentiment, all cut out and attached with 3d foam for dimention and added a few pearls to finish.

My first this year!

Well folks September is rolling on by, as has the whole of this year, so I thought i'd better get started on my Christmas cards so heres the first.

This is my entry for the Our Daily Bread Design challenge this week which had to include a bird so what else could I choose but a beautiful Robin redbreast although in this case I left it uncoloured! Stamped the poinsettia background in red and the image and greeting in brown. Added touches of copper stickles glitter and finished with a dimentional Poinsettia.
