I'm back!

Has it really been almost a month since my last post? I've had no internet for connection for 9 days while I waited for new router to arrive and be set up. How long is a day when you've no blogs to visit or internet shops to browse!? Managed to get some crafting done but not as much as i'd like, i'm sooooo far behind with things this year.

Crafty Individuals Challenge.

Created a fancy gatefold card by making a partial cut with a spellbinders label die on the corners of the card and background paper. Stamped the CI tree stamp and the Christmas greeting, die cut and blended some colour round the edges. Gathered ribbon, die cut snowflakes and stars and finished by 'stitching' round the edges with a gold pen.

Growing fast!

Hard to believe that Caitlin has just turned 6 years old and is growing up fast both in height and character but she still loves Disney Princesses, so that was my theme for her card this year. Printed background and image. Decoupaged image and added pearls to her dress and a charm crown. Edged the side with punched out border and added more pearls. Stamped greeting.

Fall colours.

This is my entry for the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge #113

Fairy stamp and background paper from Crafty Individuals. Brayered colour on glossy card then stamped fairy in black. Matted on orange card, embellished with flower and punches leaves. Sentiment stamped on orange card and cut out.

Pink challenge

Are you aware?

The pink challenge on Our Daily Bread is in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness.  I'm sure you all know someone effected by this disease as I do. This is for you, stay strong!

The image, frame and verse are stamped in dark pink, coloured and shaded the die cut mat and details on flower and frame with the same ink. Stamped another frame and cut 'corners ' to add interest to the top  of card.
