Just catching up with things and wooho i've won another shining light award for my challenge entry at ODBD a couple of weeks back, thank you ladies, its much appreciated.

Onto todays challenge were to go green either use mostly green or recycle I did both! Used the Footprints in the sand stamp set and the little seagull from CI-272. Coloured with promarkers and added a recycled button.

The colours of the rainbow.

Summertime brings images of flowers in full bloom and a fairy at the bottom of the garden and so i was inspired to make that the theme for the Cardmaking Paradise arch swap and combine it with the Crafty Individuals time for summer challenge.

The base lilac card was sponged with versamark and white embossed to give a bit of texture then overstamped with foliage stamps from CI-234 and CI-207 in green ink and swirls stenciled in lilac. The main fairy image is CI-132 stamped in blue and coloured added to the flowers. Added a little clock from CI-279 in lilac and some flowers. Used lilac paper pen to make the pearls round the arch edges adding green glitter to some and to the flowers and fairy wings.

New life.

Its all change.

I've taken the challenge on Our Daily Bread Designs a step further in my interpretation and created this card which is somewhat different to my usual style. I hope you think it fits the challenge okay!

I used the Bird and Butterfly label stamps to create and bring a new flower to life. I used archival ink Plum to stamp the small image 9 times, cut them out and formed the flower. The centre is part of a stamp from Elusive Images stamp set Fresh Blooms, as are the leaves. I coloured them with gold spica pens so its got a nice sparkle to it. The sentiment is from ODBD mini tags 3. I used Polka Dots embossing folder for the background. Gold Krylon pen and some gems to finish.

Serenity prayer

Favourite stamp!

Not an easy task to select my favourite ODBD stamp for this weeks challenge but the Serenity prayer has to be one of them as it is a great reminder of how to face these difficult times in our lives. The Brocade background is one of my crafting favourites as it is so versatile and perhaps is also a reminder of how we need to adapt to the changes in our lives.

For Sara and SSIC challenge.

As some of you know Sara from Cardmaking Paradise makes the fantastic templates I use for many of my cards so I had to come up with something special for her birthday so thought this telescopic card might fit the bill and it fits in with the challenge on Stampin Sister in Christ challenge #133 a card with motion. Images are stamped and coloured with polychromos pencils. Background embossed with garden swirl folder.

Crafty Individuals Challenge

Sailing on a summer breeze!

Not something I could do today as its back to winter and snow showers!

The Crafty Individual challenge for this month is 'Time for Summer' so of course for me that had to include the sea. The scene was created using waste from a die as a wave stencil, over stamped with CI 272 stamps, added some white gel pen highlights and a dash of glimmer mist. The background paper is from CI book 6 The Seaside. Using the same stencil I created the wave border, cut out and raised with 3d foam. Stamped the shell corners, cut out and attached in the same way. Added the little boat to finish.

I used waste from this xmas tree die to make a stencil for the waves.

Easter Arches.

Love this brilliant template from Sara at Cardmaking Paradise, its just perfect for an Easter card.

I used the Divine Swirls embossing folder for the background and Rebecca for the doors and highlighted the embossing on the door. Papermania 'Moments of Faith' rubber stamps coloured with Polychromos pencils. The door handles are jewellery findings.
