Perfect peace.

I am soooo pleased with the way this card turned out. I was having a play with my new blending brushes and absolutely love them, they are so easy to use and give great results on glossy or matt card.

To colour this card I used Distress inks Peacock Feathers, Squeezed Lemonade and Ripe Persimmon on glossy card layered on matt textured card coloured to match. The stamps are from Inkylicious 'willow twigs' and 'wings and things'. The sentiment is from Our Daily Bread Designs 'Mini tags 3'

Good luck or not....

this new template from Cardmaking Paradise is very versatile. I designed two versions one as a lovely wedding card and the other as a good luck card but there are many options why not pop over to see what Lainey, the other design team member, made for her horseshoe design, you won't be dissapointed.

For the wedding horseshoe I used a Sugar Nellie stamp 'First Dance' and a Lily of the Valley sentiment. Coloured with promarkers and added some sparkle to the dress etc with stickles 'frosted lace'.

The good luck horseshoe black cat image is off the internet, the tartan background is from a pad by Southfield. Spellbinders shapeabilities Fancy tags 2 for the design at top.

Matching gift.

I designed the notebook gift to match the design on the watering can card I made some time ago so I could give it to a friend as a set. Stamped and heat embossed the flowers on the reverse side of the card after embossing with the polka dots folder. Glitter added to finish. Both templates from Cardmaking Paradise.

50th Birthday commission.

Well seems the template I made for the Radley Dog card is proving very popular with yet another request for one. A 50th birthday this time, other wise the same as the original design. Hope she liked it.

Combined challenges.

Well thats another page of the calendar turned over, can't believe were into May already. I guess someone forgot to tell the weather as it still feels like winter here!

Been a busy week so i've combined the Our Daily Bread Design, no designer paper and Stampin Sisters In Christ, something planted or colour green challenges with this card.

Its a fun time over at Cardmaking Paradise just now as we experiment with making our own background paper which ties in nicely with the ODBD challenge.

So using acrylic paint and a block of styrofoam I made the swirly background then stamped a few butterflies. for added interest. The flowers were punched from the same background. The verse and background butterfly are from the Don't Worry stamp set by ODBD.
