Dream window

This card was made last month for the magazine but I never showed it so here it is now.

I used two of Saras templates .........the dream window and the box frame. The blue background is brayered. I was actually trying out a Barbara Gray technique that didn't work at all but I liked the end result! I lightly stamped the fairy on it and added dots of stickles for fairy dust (photo doesn't show it .)

The second fairy is made with fantasy film and fibres so in real life has some lovely colours in it which the photo hasn't picked up. Dyed a flower to match the background colour and added some stickles. Used CB to cut some gold mirri scrolls and flowers. A blue star, again with stickles and stamped a greeting to finish.

Entering this for the

Wild Orchid Challenge #4 Make it Sparkle.

A pocket Full of Posies #5 Winged Things.

Glitter Butterfly

More sparkle.

I always want to rush off and get the brayer out after watching Barbara Gray do a demo. This is what I ended up with this time.

I used the Big and Juicy Hydrangea pad and brayered diagonally for the main background. I wrapped thin string round the brayer, inked it up and ran it over the prepared background for the mat background, sponged some ink round the sides and glittered the edges. Stamped a butterfly and flowers on the scraps, cut out and glittered, attached with 3D foam, added a ribbon to finish.

Glimmer mist

A bit of sparkle.

A quick and easy card using a stencil and glimmer mist on black card for the background. Using the same stencil I cut out a couple of flowers also sprayed with glimmer mist to layer up. Border punch to decorate the edge and a stamped tag to finish.

Back to school

First day.

Well mums everywhere will be jumping for joy this week as the kids go back to school. It will be a big day for my granddaughter as its her first day at school, so I marked the occasion with a card and of course one for her big brother who is starting primary three ..........already! They are growing up so quickly.

For Caitlins card I used a cute teddy bear decoupage and blackboard that I could write her name on. Used the numbers CB embossing folder for background and die cuts for the abcd etc.

For Seans I used some fun frog decoupage with letters and numbers. You can't see it very well in pic but the background has an embossed frame, edged with the peeloffs.

For the happy couple.

This is my entry for the Wild Orchid Challenge 3 - one for the girls.  Crafty Creations Challenge blog 79 - Wedding or anniversary and Challenge up your life 26 - Celebrations.

Sara's balloon template makes a lovely celebration card. Used swiss dot CB folder for the background balloons and added stickles to all the dots for a bit of sparkle. Coloured the gorgeous Sugar Nellie wedding stamp with copics and glittered the wedding dress and veil.

Tag swap

Summer Dreams....

That was the theme for the recent TFC online magazine swap.

The perfect image for this had to be the daydreamer stamp from clarity stamps, which I stamped in green then cut out and attached with foam pads. Used distress inks to colour the tag and stamped a 'sun' which is actually a freebie from Craft Stamper magazine thats meant to be a flower!

The Crafty Individuals crackle CI-116 stamp adds a nice bit of sky detail. Lightly stamped a flock of birds and foliage, added a corner and a saying and finished off with some fibres.

For Craft Barn.

Used one of my new prize stamps, embossing folder and stickles glitter glue to make this quick thank you card to send to the craft barn. Love this stamp, coloured with promarkers.

Using this as my entry for the Paper Play Challenge  'anything goes' and also the Papertake Weekly Challenge  'white and bright'.

For the nursery.

Been having more fun making this wall hanging for Jessica's room. Stamped and embossed the letters in lilac on patterned paper and coloured with promarkers. Cut them out and attached with foam pads to lemon card. Used Martha Stewart doily punch for white layer, final matt in pink and backed with some mount board. Cute teddy and a heart and bow to finish.

I also made this little box ...................Jessica asked me to make it for her mum and dad.

This is what it says inside the card.
