Crafty Individuals Challenge.

Just in time! My entry for the CI April challenge. Background  paper made using polystyrene chips dipped in paint and swirled. Stamped CI 347 twice to decoupage the butterflies, coloured, glittered and cut out whole image and attached with dimentional dots. Stamped image again and used as 'leaves' for the baby wipe layered flower i'd used for cleaning up paint from making background. Finished with a fancy brad for flower centre and pearls on butterfly bodies. Dont know if you can see the layers are edged with silver krylon.

Crafty Individuals Challenge

My entry for the February challenge ...a fine romance. Background paper from CI book 3 Springtime with added faux stitching around edges. Main image stamped using CI -338 with Plum Archival Ink on large spellbinders heart die, added some 'pearls' to the image for a romantic feel. LOVE from Expressions clear stamp set. Embellished heart with lace to which i added stickles crystal glitter for sparkle. Cupid is my sentiments exactly K338 stamp, cut out and attached with 3D foam. Finished with heart charm and pearls in corners.

ODBD challenge.

Its been a while since i did a challenge card, i've been a busy bee this month with some commissioned cards, swaps and family cards. Only just going to make the deadline for entry but hopefully thats me back on track now. The theme this week was sky or water, I choose sky with this simple sympathy card.

Spring in Fashion.

Combined the Crafty Individuals challenge theme with a 70th birthday card i needed for a friend. Created the background using CI-171 Harlequin script stamp with two colours of Brilliance ink, peacock and orchid and over stamped with CI-182 elegant swirl then added the happy birthday.....a free stamp from CI with an order.

For the layer background I stamped a verse over some harlequin paper and stamped a flourish in the corners to tie in with main background.

The main images are from CI-322 the dressmaker stamped on some left over background that was masked with the CI beautiful butterflies panel sprayed with glimmer mist. Added some additional colour to the lady and to all the edges of the layers etc.

Stamped and cut out some leaves and the flower and added the die cut flourishes and 70 and a few pearls to finish.

For Sara.

Had to make something special for Sara birthday so when i saw this in a magazine I knew it was just the thing. Used some vintage papers for the body and a doily for the shawl. Made the face and features and stamped happy birthday, added a flower to finish.

For a friend who lost her mum.

A simple card using a crafty individuals mask and glimmer mist for the background. Stamped and cut out the butterflies from CI-364 and stamped the our daily bread design sentiment directly onto the card, edged with ink and attached to main card.

For a friend.

Haven't used this format for a while, but its was just right for this card. Background paper overstamped with Crafty Individuals elegant swirl and inked the edges. The flower is an old Elusive Image stamp cut out and layered then matted on a decorative die cut circle. Added some gems and a peeloff 60 coloured to match when I found out it was her 60th birthday.
